Travel & Stay

We’re so grateful to everyone travelling from interstate and overseas to celebrate with us — it means the world! ✈️

Adelaide Airport (ADL) is just 20 minutes from the city. International guests can connect easily via Sydney, Melbourne, or Singapore.

Once you land, the quickest way to the CBD is by Uber, Didi, or taxi, though regular tap-on buses also run straight to the city.

Where to Stay

For those travelling to Adelaide, we recommend staying within the Adelaide CBD for ease and convenience. Staying centrally will enable you to get around easily within Adelaide, and the buses to/from the wedding will be doing pick up and drop off in the CBD.

We have secured special rates at Ibis Adelaide so please use this link to book. Rooms are limited so book early!

If you’re planning to stay in the Adelaide Hills overnight, we’ve compiled a list of accommodation options below!

Explore Adelaide

Adelaide doesn’t have the hustle and bustle of a major city like Sydney or Melbourne (much less Manila), but there are a lot of great spots and regions to check out.
  1. NOLA – A New Orleans–inspired bar in the East End, known for craft beer, great whiskies and Southern-style bites. Lively, fun, and perfect for a casual night with music, drinks and fried chicken. Our favourite!
  2. Hains & Co – A cosy nautical-themed cocktail and gin bar tucked down Gilbert Place. Ideal for late-night drinks, great service, and a classy but relaxed atmosphere. This place saw our early love blossom ❤️
  3. Part-Time Lover – Modern Australian dining in a hidden laneway setting. Stylish, produce-driven, and perfect for a date night or refined long lunch with a calm, contemporary vibe.
  4. Plus 82 Gogi – A crowd-favourite Korean BBQ spot where you grill at the table. Energetic, tasty, and great for groups who want good food and a fun, interactive dining experience. We know you’re in Australia but KBBQ just so good here
  5. Tunki – Japanese-Peruvian fusion (Nikkei) with ceviche, wood-fire cooking and bold flavours. A bit of a drive from the CBD but worth a stop for something different and refined.
  6. EST Pizzeria – Casual, stylish and all about quality wood-fired pizza. Simple, delicious, and a great go-to for an easy dinner with good wine. Sherica’s favourite and she’s not the biggest fan of pizza so that says a lot.

Within the CBD, the Adelaide Central Market is famous for its range of fresh food and produce, and is next to Chinatown which has a wide range of dining options.

Our favourite area of the CBD to check out is the East End, particularly around Rundle Street, which contains a heap of fantastic restaurants and bars (several of which can be found under Bites and Bevvies.

You can also take a walk along North Terrace to check out the library (Mortlock chamber), art gallery, and museum, all of which have free entry.

If you’re into wine and can spare the time, we’d strongly recommend making a day trip to McLaren Vale or the Barossa

You can also see native Australian wildlife, and have the chance to feed kangaroos and emus, by spending a few hours at Cleland Wildlife Park

Although you’ll already experience some of the Adelaide hills during our wedding, there are many other great spots to explore, such as Hahndorf, Stirling, and the Mt Lofty botanic gardens.

It’s highly unlikely to be swimming weather, but there are also a lot of great beaches to check out. Henley’s great for a stroll, and if you’re chasing a beautiful sunset over the water, we love Grange Beach 🏖️

The Wedding Venue

52 Western Branch Rd, Lobethal, South Australia

Nestled in the rolling hills of Lenswood, Golding Wines is a family-run estate surrounded by vineyards, towering gums, and peaceful country charm. With sweeping views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place that feels both intimate and breathtaking — the perfect setting for us to say “I do.”

We are so excited to celebrate this special moment with our favourite people in such a beautiful corner of the Adelaide Hills.
